2011 The 100th Anniversary of the Revolution of 1911 Exhibition

In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Revolution of 1911, Chinese Culture Development Center, in cooperation with Beijing Municipal Government, Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles, and Beijing Municipal Archives, held the 100th Anniversary of the Revolution of 1911 Exhibition on September 27, 2011 in Alhambra, CA.

This Exhibition was composed of two major sections which vividly present the two facades of Chinese history in 1911 and 2011. While the first part displays China at the dawn of the 20th century with catalyst and process of the Revolution, the second section showcases what China, especially Beijing, looks like in the 21st century characterized by its modern architecture and perfect blend of past and present.
