Co-organized by Chinese Culture Development Center and Pacific Asia Museum, Chinese Culture Sundays: Mid-Autumn Moon Festival was held on October 7, 2012 at Pacific Asia Museum.
In order to give residents in the local community a good opportunity to experience and participate in the traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, Chinese Culture Development Center and Pacific Asia Museum brought various cultural activities throughout this one-day gala, including Chinese folk art demonstrations (paper-cutting, lantern-making, and tea-ceremony), traditional Chinese music performance (folk dance, pipa and guzheng performance), Chinese shan-shui painting demonstrations, and a short talk on Peking Opera with a Peking Opera demonstration.
