2012 “Cultures of China Colors of Yunnan” U.S. Culture Festival

From Oct 26 to Nov 6, 2012, China Overseas Exchange Association, Yunnan Provincial Overseas Exchange Association and Sino US Performing Arts Organization, in partnership with Los Angeles Chinese Culture Development Center, and Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, brought to American public “Cultures of China Colors of Yunnan” 2012 U.S. Culture Festival. This event aimed to introduce the beautiful Yunnan Province, its fascinating landscape, and rich multi-ethnic cultures to audiences in San Francisco, CA, and Honolulu, HI.

During its ten-day visit, the art delegation of “Cultures of China Colors of Yunnan” Festival showcased Yunnan ethnic minority dress demonstration, Chinese jade and tea culture lecture, Dongba hieroglyphic demonstration, “Colors of Yunnan” photo exhibition, and performance show featuring Yunnan Honghezhou Performing Arts Troupe.
