2011 Family Portrait of Chinese Ethnic Groups Exhibition—Phoenix

Location:University of Arizona in Phoenix

In order to celebrate the Mid-Moon Festival and the 62nd anniversary of founding of PRC, Family Portrait of Chinese Ethnic Groups Exhibition is held on September 9, 2011 at Arizona State University, per special invitation by local Chinese community and Chinese students association in Phoenix.

This Exhibition is produced in 2009 by the renowned photographer Mr. Chen Haiwen and his colleagues. The production team spent over a year traveling across 28 provinces, autonomous regions in China and took enormous photos that feature daily lives of China’s 56 ethnic groups.

VIP guests who attend the exhibition include representatives from Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles, State Representative Kimberly Yee, Mayor of City of Tempe Mr. Hugh Hallman, and representatives from Chinese Culture Development Center, among other community leaders and students.
