2011 “Culture of China, Festival of Spring” Show

Organized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of P.R. China and the China Overseas Exchange Association, “Culture of China, Festival of Spring” Chinese Acrobatic Grand Performance is held on February 13th, 2011, 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm, at Pasadena Civic Auditorium.   

This year, the famous Guangzhou Soldier Acrobatic Troupe is invited to visit Los Angeles to bring the most amazing Chinese acrobatics performance to the American public. Known as one of the best acrobatic troupes in China, Guangzhou Soldier Acrobatic Troupe presents its world-class and award-winning acrobatic programs to audience in Southern California, bringing the best Spring Festival wishes to friends across the Pacific.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Founded in 1951, the Soldier acrobatic Troupe of Guangzhou Military Region represents the highest level of acrobatic art in China. The troupe has visited many times with Chinese state leaders, traveled to more than 60 countries and regions in five continents, and successfully in the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony, Beijing world conference on women, APEC in Shanghai and other major activities show. In various acrobatic competitions at home and abroad, the troupe has won 280 awards in 141 shows, including 47 gold ones.
