2013 “Cultures of China, Festival of Spring” Song Zuying USA Spectacular

Organized by Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and co-organized by China Overseas Exchanges Association, The China Press, Chinese Culture Development Center, and Sino-US Performing Arts Organization, “Cultures of China, Festival of Spring” 2013 Song Zuying USA Spectacular solo concert is held on March 1, 2013 at The Shrine Auditorium in Downtown Los Angeles, bringing the best Spring Festival wishes to audience in Southern California.

2013 “Cultures of China, Festival of Spring” features China’s most famous and talented singer, Ms. Song Zuying, whose transcendent presentation of Chinese folk music has received recognition and applause from music professionals and audience all around the world.

As a celebrated Chinese singer, Ms. Song has held her concerts at world’s best venues, such as Sydney Opera House, Vienna Musikverein, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C., Beijing National Stadium, Royal Albert Hall in London, etc. In the past ten years, Ms. Song has cooperated with many world-renowned artists, including Placido Domingo, Andrea Bocelli, Lang Lang, etc.

“Cultures of China, Festival of Spring” 2013 Song Zuying USA Spectacular is also joined by Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and its affiliated Philharmonia Chorale, which was nominated for a Grammy in 2011 in the category of Best Orchestral Performance and named “Ensemble of the Year” for 2004 by Musical America.
