2021 American Chinese Educator Photography Competition

The 13th National Convention of the Chinese School Association in the United States was held on December 10 to 12, 2021 at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in San Diego, California, USA. During the conference, 2021 American Chinese Educator Photography Competition, co-sponsored by the Chinese School Association in the United States, the Chinese Culture Development Center of Los Angeles, the Photography Department of China News Service, and CNS Photo, held the award ceremony and displayed the award-winning photos.

Since its launch in June 2021, American Chinese Educator Photography Competition has received enthusiastic responses from Chinese educators across the United States, with more than 200 entries. The photos were divided into three groups according to their themes: Homeland Impressions, Chinese Americans and US-China Exchanges. Through the eyes and lenses of Chinese educators, the photos show what they see and feel, express their emotion about homeland and make positive contributions to enhancing US-China exchanges and promoting US-China friendship among its people.

The jury of this competition is composed of authoritative figures and top news photographers in Chinese and American media industry. The director of the jury is Min Wang , vice President of China News Service. The judges are Yingxin Zhao , president of China Photo Newspaper, Jianjun Mao, director of photography Department of China News Service and Winner of China Photography Award. Ringo Chiu, a contract photographer for the Associated Press and winner of the 2021 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography, and Xinzhou Li, vice president of China News Photo Network.
